The School of Medicine is dedicated to excellence in medical education, research and community impact. Through innovative teaching, early clinical experiences and strong partnerships with healthcare providers, we prepare future doctors to meet the changing healthcare needs of diverse communities.
Central to this mission is the Medical Education Unit (MEU), which leads curriculum development, educational innovation, assessment and faculty development across the University's five year medical program. Bringing together educators from diverse clinical and non-clinical backgrounds, the MEU supports students through evidence-based teaching, mentoring and pastoral care.
Together, the School and the MEU create an engaging, inclusive and research-informed learning environment where students develop the knowledge, skills and professional capabilities needed for contemporary medical practice.
