Building partnerships: The Painted River Project Moree – An annual Art, Science and Music Festival
Following on from the PRP’s successful field trip and the public event in Moree earlier this year, the Project is set to launch an annual Painted River Project – Art Science and Music Festival in partnership with Moree’s Regional Gallery, BAMM, and MSDI. This partnership will focus on the communities relationship to the Gwydir Wetlands and the Mehi River.
In September, The Painted River Project was chosen by the office Deputy Vice Chancellor and Vice President (Academic) to help launch Western’s Sustainability and Resilience 2030 Decadal Strategy. The Decadal Strategy details the reasons why, as a leading anchor educational institution deeply embedded in Greater Western Sydney, we must envision a more resilient, sustainable, and prosperous future.
