The research process is filtered through key concepts of media archaeology, cultural techniques, and practice-led research, stimulating discussions on hybrid media's affordance. Insomnia is a virtual exhibition with supporting exegesis, forming a framework that unites scientific communication and creative practice. Its methodology, a blueprint for interdisciplinary fusion, examines future trends in interactive installations, and highlighting the potential for continued development in the realm of data visualisation.
