Odelle D’Souza was part of the winning group who won the 2023 Pitch This! competition. As part of her portfolio for this competition, she developed a media kit to complement the idea her and her team developed for Scouts ACT. This media release was one of the innovative pieces she designed to appeal to journalists.
Thank you to Scouts ACT for allowing PR students around Australia to come up with a campaign idea for them as part of this nation-wide competition.

![Professor Alexis Wright’s magnificent new novel, Praiseworthy, was published in April 2023 by Giramondo Publishing. We are honoured at WSU to have the opportunity to work with Alexis.
Praiseworthy is a major addition to world literature - the book is set in the Northern Territory and asks big questions of Australia. Alexis is a featured guest at this week’s Sydney Writers’ Festival. She will be speaking about Praiseworthy this Saturday evening, and tickets can be booked here:
